Michael Hartwin was a friend and follower of Gerald Crawston. They were a piloting pair in the royal academy. After his death, the Drak Switch was able to successfully rally the support to Gerald's cause once again. While the movement had certainly lost some support now that an Alpha was no longer the leader, it still had fervent support from Omegas and Switches. He was going to have to be dealt with as well. Since he was higher up in his line than Gerald was in his, he had the financial support needed to keep private investigations going even though the royal family had closed theirs. It was only a matter of time before they found something. Whether it was enough to scratch at the plot's true masterminds was an open question. Kenny and his family were certainly at risk as they were the hosts and the ones that carried it out. Even Rose, uneducated and low born as she was, had figured out that Kenny had some involvement in the case. It would not take too long for an experienced investigation agency to figure something out to point the finger to Kenny. That was bad.

Even if no human could explain the murder carried out by Blaze, all that was needed was a cause of suspicion on Kenny. It would be over at that point. As an Omega, he would instantly be less believed than Michael. He also could not rely on his father as he was a continent away. He had no delusions that he would be supported by the top if that were to happen. He would be lucky if they did not kill him outright to silence him if that happened. He would still be living out the rest of his natural life behind bars though. For his own preservation, he had to do this. "I'll need to retire from service soon after I finish my term as ambassador. Rachel was right." he said to himself as he dragged himself to bed. He had a long couple of days. Going to bed early would help his nerves and make him more well rested for the mission. After taking the recommended eight hours of sleep, he got up and took a nice bath. He then went to exercise and train for another two hours before he freshened up. Breakfast was then served and eaten with the members of the family. The symbiotes were in their rooms.

None of them needed to eat. Kenny told the others that they were observing a fast. They thought it was odd, but were not going to question something that might be very religious. He went over to Ian and gave him a gun with a silencer on the end. "Keep this inside you and use it when we are alone. This does not need to be as clean as the others." Kenny said. With two leaders murdered, the cause might die down. At least they would think twice before making such a loud ruckus. They took a car near the house that the Hartwins used in Upport. They got out and Kenny said "You are going to wait until I go in. While I am with him, you're going to bond with a servant and use the gun I gave you to kill him." His eyes sparkled in glee at the prospect of bonding with someone. "Alright! That noble guy is as good as dead." Kenny said "When you kill him you have to leave your host behind with the gun. That is how you are going to frame them for the murder." He shrugged and said "Well that really sucks for a symbiote like me. If I could keep a host, I'd like that more." "Tough. Follow orders Ian."
