Randy was your typical womanizing jock. So he knew more about women than most high school guys, cause he had been with a few. He was fascinated by them, they were so different from himself, and while he found them endlessly attractive, and that he didn't have a type, he liked all of them, he also on occasion wondered what it would be like to be one. Not for like a long time, but if there were tickets which would change your gender for a week, he probably would have bought more than one. There were two reasons for this, first off, he just didn't fully understand women. He spent enough time around them, sometimes naked, sometimes on dates, sometimes because well that's life, but he never knew what was going on in their heads, it never made sense to him. Then there was the fact that He was a red headed guy, and somewhere along the line he noticed that red headed guys were ugly, and red headed girls where stunning. This didn't matter too much to him, because he was big and good at sports, so who needed to be classically handsome, but on occasion he wished he could have the attention that his hot red head cousin got.
So when Mrs. Holloway started changing people, he didn't put up too much of a fight, just enough to make people think he wasn't a weirdo or anything. He was curious what it might be like, as scared as he was to actually find out. What this lady was doing certainly wasn't right, but she had the power to do it, and he didn't seem able to stop it. So it happened.
Miranda was your typical attractive red head girl, except she didn't think she was that pretty. She wanted for convention, she wanted to be like all the other blondes and brunettes that were around, but her hair was too red to dye it. She never believed the compliments that guys would give her, she just thought they were trying to get into her pants. She didn't feel any different than before, the cloths felt a bit different and there was the weight of hair and make up on her face, but other than that, she just felt the same...and smaller, so much smaller.
