There was a tense excitement in the air as the car sat in the parking area of the large ranch estate. So this was Sarah's house, large ornate, and imposing and within it someone who none of them were sure they wanted to see, but felt none the less drawn to. Karyn broke the silence by opening the door.

"Let's get on with it." She stepped out of the car, straightened her shirt and skirt. Jenny followed suit.

Nadine hesitated. "Let's all promise, before we go in, that we have each other's backs in there. I don't want any fighting." She said a silent prayer to herself as she got out of the car. She felt genuinely imitated by the size and gravity of the both the house and the situation. For all her apparent upgrades in status and wealth it was nothing compared to what she saw before her.

Miranda shut off the car, opened her door and got out. As she did she turned to the two left in the car. "I've hung with her before, it's not that bad if you do it right."
But as she got out of the car she privately thought, "here we go again." Exasperated at the idea of Sarah's ego.

Jade looked at Trinity " No funny business, please."

Trinity just glared.

"It could backfire on all of us." Jade offered. "Just...be smart."

With that Jade got out of the car.

Trinity unclenched her fist, and followed a few seconds later.

Jenny was the one to knock on the big wooden door, which stood on the large porch entrance. A electronic box buzzed with a vaguely familiar voice, which wasn't Sarah's.
"Come on in! Sarah's a little out of it...we are upstairs."

The door buzzed and let them in. What was to meet them was unexpected.
