Delia, Miranda, and Jade had spent the night watching a movie at Jade's place. They were an odd bunch, there wasn't anything that connected them as a group, besides their mutual transformation and predicament. There was Miranda, who was the jock of the group, in a volleyball way, tall, in shape, but not anything that stood out, what stood out most about her was her red hair. Then there was Delia, the emo of the group, with colored stripes in her hair, and an affinity for being dramatic, as a guy this was just a way to meet girls who weren't stuck up cheerleader types, now she was herself one of those girls and she found herself living that role for real. What came with her gender was a certain sense of inadequacy, of comparison to other girls, she felt hyper aware of if she was or wasn't accepted, even in this group of girls which were bonding over mutual problems. The idea of actually becoming a cheerleader didn't feel like betrayal, but like an escape, a chance to be loved, and so she was seriously thinking about taking up Mrs. Holloway's offer. What she was afraid of was that she wasn't good enough. She wasn't as striking as Miranda, or as loud and leader like as her, Miranda stood out with her red hair and height and athletic build, she could see her being a cheerleader if she wanted it, and in that moment she felt a need to get approval from her, to live up to her. Miranda caught her looking as they watched the movie.

"What's up with you?" Miranda asked.

"Do you think you could do it?" Delia asked

"Be a runaway bride? Naw, it's just a movie." Miranda retorted. The real question on her mind was if anyone was enjoying watching this movie, she wasn't.

"No, be a cheerleader." Delia cut in.

"Like could I do it physically? Sure. I guess. Do I want to? No, I mean probably not, depends on what it's like doing it." Miranda was backtracking fast as the concept passed through her brain, it seemed to settle nicely rather than harshly as she was expecting.

"I think you could..." Delia said, shyly.

"Really? What do I look it?"

"Well yeah, but also you sound like you could do it. You have that air about you."

"What air? Like I'm a bitch?"

"No, it's hard to explain. I guess I was just looking at you and I could see you doing it is all."

The reality of the concept being passed around made Miranda comfortable with the idea, for a moment she thought of herself in front of a cheering crowd, guiding a chant, and she liked the idea. That comfortabliness made her uneasy and she turned back to the movie.

"Thanks, I guess...Lets get back to the movie" Miranda retorted....the movie suddenly seemed much more interesting.

Meanwhile in the other room Jade and Nadine were talking on the phone.

"I'm thinking about seeing an exorcist." Nadine started

"What!?" Was jades surprised response

"Well everything has clearly been changed by some form of dark magic, and so I was going to see someone who might do something about it." Nadine said calmly.

"So he can pray away the fact that you are wearing make up and a different shirt, no offense Nadine but not much happened to you. You basically just got a make over. I had my gender changed."

"No it's more than that. I have money now, my daddy...err father, is rich now! We have all this new stuff, but it seems like we've always had it, and my parents are sort of society types now, which before they were just...normal...And....it's hard to explain."

Jade felt incredulous and so in a mocking tone asked "Have you been having sinful thoughts my child?"

To which Nadine responded emphatically "YES! I can't seem to stop them!"

Jade rolled her eyes, but also felt a bit curious. "Like what?"

"I had the option of going to church tonight like usual or well, exploring...and I ended up exploring..." She meant more than exploring by exploring.

"I think that's normal... I mean maybe not for you it isn't, but most people do that..stuff....we are talking about masterbation right?"

meekly Nadine responded "yes. It was my first time."

"Really?" Jade was sort of shocked. coming from the life of being a geeky guy that was a daily activity, she hadn't tried it as a girl, but it couldn't be that different.

"Yeah." Nadine responded. She was embarrassed.

"Alright...just tell me what happened....no judgements...I've done it, we've all done it. It's fine. Just talk....it's ok."

Nadine continued "I was checking out all the new clothing in my closet, playing with make up, it didn't feel that different from normal. It was like I had been allowed to be pretty and it felt nice. Then I caught a look of myself in the mirror in a dress that made me look really great...you should come over sometime and see all the stuff I have, it's shocking." For a moment there was what sounded like pride in Nadine's voice.

"And..."

"And...I looked hot. I mean, not like good, or pretty, or cute, I mean hot. I looked like a girl that guys would want to go out with....and then I started thinking about that...and it wasn't the "going out with" that I was thinking about....and the dress felt really good on my skin and I so I took it off, but then I was all hot and bothered....and I just ended up....exploring....I don't want say anymore."

"It's ok." Jade cooed into the phone...she didn't think it was that big of a deal, but something in her felt empathy for this girl who clearly wasn't prepared for what she had just done. She wanted to calm her friend, to make her feel ok.
"Why don't you come over, Miranda and Delia are over here watching a movie... You could spend the night and then in the morning we could gather the troupe and figure this all out."

Nadine "ok, I will."

They hung up. Jade had gone into that call annoyed, with her head all full of ways to fix this, science, magic, but she had come out of it full of emotions, of care and support on a level she had never felt as a guy. For the rest of the night her brain turned off, and she just felt things, making the whole night a new experience. The rest of the night was a wash of girl time, of bonding, of chick flicks and finally sleep.
