Jen and Karyn made it to Jade's house within 15 minutes, and made their way to her room. When they walked in, they found Jade and Delia waiting for them.
"Thank you for joining us so quickly." Jade said, smirking.
"No problem..." Jen said. "What was so important?"
"Well, we may have discovered something about the magic that is affecting us." Jade said.
"Well, yeah. You said that." Karyn said. "What is it."
"First, a question. Jen, where did you go for summer vacation last year?" Jade asked.
"We went to California." Jen said. "You should know that, you..."
"Were there. Yes. Apparently, we were." Jade said. "And we went with?"
"Sarah's family." Karyn said. "Holy shit, why do we remember that?"
"The magic seems to give us access to our new selves' memories." Delia said.
"Interesting..." Jen said. "I wonder how deep that'll go."
"I don't know." Jade said. "It doesn't seem to overwrite our memories. But once we remember them, our new memories become more prevalent."
"Right. I still remember what I did last summer, but my new memories seem more...real." Jen said.
"What do we do?" Karyn asked. "What if it overtakes us completely?"
"The only thing we could do is approach Ms. Holloway about it." Jen said. "But..."
"Probably not a great idea." Delia said. "Who knows what else she can do?"
Jen and Karyn looked at each other.
"In the mean time, we should keep aware of any further changes." Jade said. "It could help us figure out what is happening, exactly, in more detail."
THe group all agreed, and then chatted for a bit longer. After some time, they all decided that they were hungry, and headed out to get food.
