Hiro knows his appearence is not attractive and can even be frightening. . The staff were very considerate to him and had no issues... So much so they gave him a free pizza if he ever came back. So I think it's all cool. It takes a while for people to get used to somone like Hiro, and a reason why he must learn patience...
