Jade was sad to find she did not have green eyes or red hair. What was the point of being called Jade if she didn't resemble the only Jade that mattered, Mara Jade, wife of Luke Skywalker. Jade had spent the night before looking up the lives of her fellow travelers on social media. She tried to do homework, never having been a very big networker, Jay would have preferred to write that code rather than actually use it, but now seeing her whole life, and those of her "friends" she couldn't learn enough, math seemed boring compared to who had dated who when and how that had ended up. She was amazed to learn things everything from prom pictures, (which of course featured Jade in a green dress, and surprisingly had Trinity in a pink one, which was from the comments was the product of a lost bet, still Trinity was smiling as big as the other girls.) It seemed that there were pairs of friends in this group: Jenny and Karyn did everything together to the point some had thought they might like each other, there was a debate about this on one wall that got quite heated, and then it was never touched on again. Also Jenny had started dating some guy, so that helped (Jade couldn't help thinking the guy was cute, then later found she too had dated him, but after and for a short time.)
Jade was closest with Trinity, who had a closeted geeky side to her darkness, though they were on very different geeky paths. Trinity liked the dark stuff like Johnny the Homicidal maniac , and Jade was very into Joss Whedon, and in particular Tom Hiddleston as Loki. (She had a tumblr about it)
Trinity was also close with Delia, who was close with Miranda, Delia occupied a place between those two extremes as it appears that Miranda was quite athletic, and Trinity was gothic. Delia it also seemed was into Drama, both on and off the stage. She had the most break ups, and the most public outbursts on her wall about something big happening in her life, which really wasn't that big. It seemed the world was always ending with her, and Trinity was an ear to hear it, and Miranda was a girl to get her mind off it with some sort of sport thing or workout.
Nadine was oddly closest to Karyn and Sarah, and was their "link" as friends. Nadine also had her other world of church, which others would get sucked into from time to time, Karyn ended up going quite a bit, but she wasn't super into it. Nadine did it in an effort to be a model citizen, she thought it was what good girls did. That and how she looked, people had told her she should try out for a pageant, and their was a long debate on if she should or not, if it was too prideful or vain of a thing to do. Nadine had not dated, she was the only one, saving herself for her husband. She also had a page which would often send out encouraging messages, which Jade had blocked.
By the time morning had come, she felt like she knew each of these girls so well, and yet, she didn't fully know her self. She started a new blog, to chronicle herself and this brave new world she lived in, and she called it: The Breakfast Club, a guide to my friends. Then took a selfie and went to bed.
