There were giant flowering trees known as Cosqux. There were other flowers of various colors surrounding them, called Ichae. This particular tree had red flowers on it and violet flowers were on the ground below it. We stood on the ground to collect the nectar with our tongues. We were allowed to eat the pollen from the flowers. When we were done, we were to fly up to collect more nectar and pollen. I kept near the group as we went up. We each took a large flower and sucked out the nectar until we were full. I filled my jar and I looked over at the rest. They were just about finished and we were gathered together to go back to the hive. It was a pretty long flight. When we got back, we were immediately ordered to lock lips with the gatherers on stand by. I did and it felt nice as the nectar came back up and into the waiting mouth of the other gatherer. They then started chewing on it. From there, I was taken to the store room to give in my jar of pollen. They were going to take it into the inventory and partition it out to everyone that needed it. The lion's share would obviously go to the fighters and royals.
Since we were done, we were not going out again for a week. Starting the next day, we would be the ones chewing the nectar into honey. That would last for two days. It would be kind of gross, but I could handle it. After that, we would be on wax duty for two consecutive days. That left two days for our own devices. After the day was done, I got my exp. With it and my combat, I got to level 39. That gave me 36 skill points. I went over and saw there were Class skill trees. I split them evenly between the wax and honey production. I made it so that the minigames for making both would have a +50 efficiency bonus. Wax, honey, and royal jelly were graded on a letter system from F to S+. An F grade was anything less than 60. 90- 99 were A grade. 100- 109 would be S and anything above 110 would be S+. That meant as long as I passed, it would be an S+ grade work. When I got the kiss with the nectar the next day, the minigame was a game of making a series of shapes of various sizes in a timely matter. I was able to make eleven shapes in under 30 seconds. That gave me 55 points.
With the bonus boosting me, it was a S job. Due to my subrace, the honey was blue instead of golden. I was praised for doing such a good job my first time. That was the first day. The second day, I got a S+ on my honey and people went wild with praise. I just went about my day. The wax minigame was a puzzle were you had to make a large hexagon with various shapes. I was not good at it at all. My bonus cushioned me to a C. The second time, I was a able to get a B. When my day off came, I felt an intense itch in my abdomen. A popup said I needed to lay my egg soon. I had not even realized another egg was formed inside me. It must be another effect of the mutation. Since I was a gatherer, I was able to go up and down as much as I wanted. I went down to the floor with the younglings. I found one that looked weak and fought him. I had much more health and AP than them, so I was able to beat them soundly, take their oil and implant an egg in them. Their name was Berils. I then took them up to the surface with me and made him a Gatherer as well. He seemed to be fine with it.
