Leanne stood on her scale at home. She had done this many times before, she watched the numbers flux as they debated over which weight was the right one for her. 125, 115, 121, 120, 121. She found herself hoping for lower of the two as it slowed down, shifting her weight on the scale as if that would help. 120.
Leanne was thin. Her body was long and thin, she was a rail with boobs. 120, she had never been that before. She could be a model. She remembered being so much bigger, so much sadder, being big was sad, small was happy. thin. She was thin. She smiled.
Was she thin enough though? or too thin? She liked being thin, but as she looked at herself was it right that her boobs were so big on her thin frame? That must be where the fat went, she though. She should work out more, she wanted to stay thin.
She thought about Jay, she thought about him as cute and smart, she hoped she was cute enough for him. A bit of a nerd though, she could change that, if he worked out a bit, had her help with some shopping...She imagined a future with herself as a thin, sexy, depressed model and Jay as a muscular sexy scientist on the cover of wired magazine. She would need to stay thin, so she worked out that night and only had half a salad for dinner.
Late that night she got a call from one of the Cheer girls, Sandy, about a boy she liked. Sandy did a lot of the talking, and Leanne did a lot of zoning out, looking at herself in the mirror and thinking about Jay. She eventually just blew Sandy off telling her to call him and see. She wanted to talk to Jay.
