Fare for the train there and back was the real roadblock. "Shit! I'll get it. You don't have to worry. You better be there at the train station on Saturday!" Toby said before he ran off. I decided to call it quits as well. Desmond said he wanted to walk home with me. I nodded and we began walking. "Everyone was looking for Jack today." he said with an accusing look. I asked why. He scoffed. "You know why. No one could find him. You think he left school early?" he said. I just shrugged. Unlucky as it was, that was the exact moment, we saw him turn the corner on the other side of the street. He was still with Jane. He was leaning on him and he was looking pretty happy about it. I tried to continue walking, but Desmond stopped me. "Why the fuck is he with a girl!? Is that bastard on a date right now?" he asked as he pointed. Jack and Jane did not notice us as they past us going the opposite direction we were. "What does it matter. He's having fun. He's our friend. So what if he was a girlfriend?" I said casually. I did not want to escalate anything that could be bad for Jack in the future. He was fine.

Desmond did not see it that way. He was pissed. "Not only is he dating outside of the gang, he thinks he can get a girl!? Hell no! I'm going to fuck him in front of her and show them what happens when a Sub in the gang messes around." he said. I stood in his way and said "Let it go this one time. It isn't even that bad!" he glared at me. It was one of barely suppressed rage. "Fine! Whatever. I won't say anything about it to anyone... this time. Next time it happens, he's screwed." he grumbled. I continued walking and we made it my house. He wanted to come inside and eat some snacks. I sighed and saw what I could find. There were some cookies and milk so I put them out for him. "I look like a fucking kid to you?" he asked after eying the spread. "You are the one that wanted a snack. Next you'll want a nap or something." I said. He looked me up and down before he smirked. "If you were sleeping next to me, I would not mind going to bed." he said. It made me smirk back. "Hell no. Very smooth line though." I said. He just groaned. Once he was done, I kicked him out of my house.

Friday afterschool was time for my date. I blinked over the the school gate and called Chelsea on my phone. She was all ready on her end. We would meet in front of the mall. I walked over right away because it was in an area of the city that was not somewhere I would normally go. I met her and we talked for a bit. I told her a bit about my school life and the fights that I was getting into as we walked around. She did the same thing for me. There were a few stores that she wanted to go into and shop for a bit. I went along and watched as she put some things on. I complimented her and she seemed to appreciate it from the way she held herself taller and much more confidently. She tried a few more outfits on before she made her final choice. That was pretty good to see. "Thanks for coming with me, Dustin." Chelsea said as we walked to the exit. "It's no problem at all, Chelsea. I had a really great time ." She nodded and turned her head shyly. I smirked as I saw there was an in for a relationship with her. "I think we should keep seeing each other. Would you like that?" I asked.
