The shopkeeper is looking at Mary with rage in his eyes, as she had gone off on him without knowing why things are going the way that they are. "First off, there are warning signs on every section here in the shop, letting people know what happens but people either don't pay attention, of they don't believe it so I can't be held fully responsible." he starts off.
When he speaks in that harsh, deep tone, Mary starts to back off a bit and gives him some space before he continues. "And as for why this happens? This shop was created by some sort of unknown magic that uses real people to turn them into video game characters and then these games are sent off to shops to be sold. That's how video games are created and I was unfortunate enough to discover this secret so I'm bound to carrying out this job as much as I hate it. All I can do is give advice and help innocent people not befall this fate." he explains.
Mary doesn't know how to take this as she realizes that it truly wasn't his fault. "I'm sorry, I didn't know." she stammers.
Before the shopkeeper can respond, she glances up over at the screen to see the latest change to Brandon as his hair gets a little bit darker and grows down to chin-length. "So has anyone been turned into the character that Brandon's becoming?" she asks.
The shopkeeper nods his head. "Several times, would you like to see a picture?" he asks.
