Finally Brandon and Knuckles came to a break in the trees, and before them stood a temple shrine. Brandon looked up at the Master Emerald, a massive gem that sat at the crest of the shrine, and couldn't help but lip his glossed lips.
"So, here's the temple," Knuckles announced. "So do you know where your way home is?"
Brandon barely heard his companion's question. "Hm? Oh, yes, I think so. Say, is that the master emerald?"
Knuckles noticed the glint of greed in Brandon's eyes and shifted uncomfortably. "Um, yes, yes it is."
"Can we take a closer look?"
"I'm not sure if-"
"Oh come on, please?" Brandon pleaded, batting his eyelashes, which were now significantly longer and darker, as well as accompanied by a coat of blue eye shadow on his eyelids.
"Alright, fine, but don't try anything funny."
"I wouldn't dream of it," Brandon replied, a spring in his step as he followed Knuckles towards the shrine. Unnoticed by either of them, Brandon's shoes had turned the same white as his gloves, and were beginning to creep up his legs.
