Everyone on that side of the room stopped what they were doing and stared at her. She definitely looked different. Physically, she was exactly the same. But everything else was different.
She strode in wearing clothes that really flattered her, showing off her assets without looking slutty. She didn't seem shy anymore either. She strode in as if she didn't see anything wrong with her appearance and headed through the middle of the room toward the lunch line.
As she passed the cheerleader's table, Sarah stopped her. "What happened to you?" She demanded.
"What do you mean?" She asked in flawless, accentless English. "I was just walking to get my lunch. Excuse me," she said, brushing off the other girl.
Sarah reached out and grabbed Yuki, and just as she touched her, she suddenly began to glow a bright white. Some people in the room had to cover their eyes. And when the light was gone, Sarah was different.
Jon turned and looked at Karyn. They exchanged glances, as they realized that that was the same type of flash of light that the stone made when a wish was granted. Only this time, instead of the stone glowing, it was Sarah that glowed.
