Jon and Karyn watched as Sarah McMillan and the other cheerleaders shifted. Their figures seemed to vanish within clothes that no longer fit properly. Their hair grew limp. Several of them developed noticeable imperfections...facial blemishes and such.
It was as if the beauty had just...leaked out of them. Tears streamed down cheeks rosy with embarrassment.
The other students in the lunchroom either laughed at the cheerleaders or screamed. No one was eating. Some got up and hurled their lunches into the nearest disposal.
