Karyn quickly decided it was best to follow Sarah. She didn't know what Sarah was doing, but she didn't like the looks of this at all.
She followed Sarah down the stairs, trying not to be heard. It was clear, however, that she failed, as Sarah gave her a backward glance.
Sarah, meanwhile, realized she was being followed. She heard the noise made by the heels Karyn, in her thirty-something stripper body, was wearing. She guessed it was Karyn since the stripper matched Brad's description of what Karyn had been transformed into.

Sarah knew she and her friends would have to figure out what happened to Mrs. Lynch later. Sarah had to give the disposal of the Random Gun top priority. She only hoped the rest of her friends had already found and confiscated most of the Transformation Guns by now.
Karyn stared in shock at Mrs. Lynch. "What happened to you?" she blurted out, momentarily forgetting that she was trying to silently follow Sarah.

Karyn realized she'd get no straight answers out of Mrs. Lynch, and resumed her pursuit of Sarah.
Sarah continued down the hall, knowing Karyn was following her. She passed by one or two jocks she didn't recognize. Was there a Jock Gun out there somewhere? Sarah didn't stop to take a closer look at the jocks to see if she recognized them as anyone she knew.
Karyn gasped. Was that Leonard? She wasn't sure. But she knew if she let herself be distracted, she'd lose track of Sarah.
Sarah, meanwhile, was headed toward the back door of the school. She had come up with a good means of disposing of the Random Gun for good. Now all she needed to do was reach the right place...
