On the other side of town, a young man walked into a conference room and set his briefcase down on the table. He must have been about 35 years old, and completely nondescript and forgettable, which was preferable in his line of work. He wore a suit and tie ensemble.
He opened his briefcase and took out a spray bottle. This was custom-made (he had made it, but stolen the formula from a scientist he used to work as a lab assistant for) and would put someone in a trance faster than you could say "hypnotic suggestion".
He took a schedule out from his briefcase. This was just the first stop in a very busy day. He had been hired by certain persons to do some work here in this town. And all in the same day, which seemed a bit strange to him, but as he shrugged, he figured he didn't care. It just meant more money.
His old boss had wanted to use the spray for making slutty women...pervert. Not that he hadn't done such things for money. But he was an equal opportunity kind of guy. He'd been hired to turn would-be whistle-blowers into loyal company workers, or worse, sluts like his old boss preferred, if management who hired him was vindictive. He'd been hired by wives who wanted their husbands to stop cheating on them to husbands who wanted their wives to be more involved in lovemaking.
It took more than just the chemicals to do his magic. It took skill and finesse.
