Jon turned to see ... Jon's former body staring at her. She realized this was Bethany, the girl from the Texas high school who had traded bodies with Jon as part of the Exchange Program.
"What are you doing here?" Bethany said, in Jon's voice.
"Karyn ... before she was killed she told me about the stone. I thought I could use it to wish her back."
Bethany, at this point, was not sure how to react. He stared at Jon, who now occupied his normal body.
Should I tell the truth? That Rosaria wished to never go back to her previous body and that's what got Karyn killed?
Bethany stared at Jon in Bethany's body and Sarah in Joe-Bob's body. All paused for a moment, trying to decide what to do and say next. Jon, at this point, had the wishing stone.
