Jay Duncan was sitting in class when the wave hit. He found it fascinating...but then, he would. Most would call him a science nerd. He did well in school, he liked computers, and had a love of astronomy and physics.

The wave was initially like static electricity, causing everyone's hair to stand on end, then it hit with a vengeance. Jay's vision blacked out, and when it cleared...he was still in class. But it seemed to be a different classroom in the same school, and he while some of the students looked oddly familiar, he didn't recognize a single one of them.

They all seemed a bit surprised, probably because of the weirdness. The teacher, however, seemed oblivious.

Jay looked around, and suddenly realized he wasn't wearing his glasses. But he could see...Confused, he looked down at the paper in front of him...there was a pen, and neat handwriting...and...some things his mind didn't believe. He forced himself to focus and to take the whole picture in before making a decision. He would be a scientist. Objective.

He found a bag under his seat and started looking through it. In one pocket was a pair of glasses and a contact case, as well as some makeup. The next pocket had a student ID, made out to Dawn Duncan. The home address and birthdate was his.

The picture...and what he could see. He tried to be objective about it...but he seemed to be a very attractive girl. Jay was not exactly unaware that he wasn't the most attractive boy out there. But 'Dawn' was 'smoking', and smart too. Jay was a science nerd, and so was this girl. But while he was into physics and astronomy...this female version of him was into chemistry and biology...if her schedule was any indication. They both appeared to be in the same AP math course though, but otherwise, they had completely different schedules.

He kept digging into the bag, but it produced few additional answers. Schoolsbooks, keys, nothing useful. He tried looking through the notebook.

The teacher seemed to suddenly notice no one was paying attention to the lesson. Everyone was whispering at each other, or frozen in fear, or looking at themselves intently. She turned around. "Is there something wrong?" She demanded.

The school PA system crackled to life.
