Sarah screamed silently as a cold chill ran through her body. Then she shook as the chill turned into a freeze. She looked down and saw the tan fading out of her skin to a pale unhealthy...green? Wait a minute.
She collapsed to the floor, her knees growing weak. What was happening to her? She felt like all the energy was being sucked out of her body.
She looked from one side of the room to the other. The five people just stood there, staring down at her with evil eyes. And the witch girl Athena kept on mumbling something under her breath.
Sarah growled again, feeling something strange going on with her hands. They were growing long, the fingernails unkempt. Her clothes shifted as well, turning black.
"You called me a witch," Athena said to her. "Let your vision be your punishment."
The others pulled her to her feet. Standing there was a...well, witch. A green-skinned old hag with the figure of a scarecrow and a face that would scare anyone off.
"Change me back, you..." her words caught in her threat as she heard her voice. Fingernails on a blackboard sounded better.
"You are one of our creatures now," Athena said. "You will obey. You will not be able not to."
