Jon studied the list and neutrally decided.
"I guess I'll go for the second one," he shrugged. It was supposedly an experiment to swap bodies with someone, but he didn't think it'd actually work - that was just sci-fi nonsense wasn't it?
Dr. Marsh smiled and took the clipboard from him "Good choice, if you just put this on, we'll call the other participant in our experiment now." She handed him a headband connected to a large computer via wires and turned to Mr Fields with a nod. Grinning he hunched over a microphone and said something into it that Jon couldn't hear. A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door. While Dr Marsh went to answer it, Mr Fields ushered Jon around the other side of the computer.
"The results will be better if you don't know who you're swapping with in advance," he explained. Jon shrugged and sat down on a chair that had been provided and waited. He could hear people talking, guessing the two teachers were explaining things to the other person, whoever they were and a moment later, Mr Fields popped his head around the computer and gave him a thumbs up. Before Jon could react, he felt a sharp lancing pain in his temples and then he blacked out for a second.
When he came too, he was in another part of the lab. With a gulp, he looked over at the conveniently positioned mirror, wondering who he was now.
