Stacy exited the locker room, glad the period was finally over.Running around in those shorts while all the guys looked at her disturbed her, though at the same time she wasn't as freaked out by it as she thought she should be.

She was about to head off for her ext class when Sarah McMillan approached her again. "Since we don't have any more classes together today, I guess I'll see you at practice this afternoon." she said.

Stacy stared at Sarah, confused, until she remembered the cheerleading uniform in her locker. "Oh, yeah. Right." she said.

"Yeah, and I just want to thank you again for taking Tiffany's place while she's...indisposed." Sarah said. "I still can't believe that asshole Steve left her high and dry like that." she added angrily.

Stacy flinched at Sarahs words. Even though she meant a different Steve, she knew that anger should be directed at her. "Yeah...anyway, I should get to class now." she said.

"All right, I'll see you later." Sarah said, walking in the other direction.

On the way to class, Stacy had a lot to think about. Firtly, she wondered if the way Sarah talked about this new Steve was the way she talked about her, before that bitch of a teacher did this to her. She had been Biff's, Sarah's boyfriend, best friend. It bothered her a little to think that she thought that way of him.

Also, she now wondered about where she really stood in terms of popularity. Clearly, she was still associated with Sarah and Tiffany, but she had apparently only become a cheerleader when Tiffany was unable to cheer due to her pregnancy. Maybe she had just been friends with them up until that point. She knew most of Sarah's friends were cheerleaders, but not all of them.

In any case, Stacy decided to put these thoughts aside for the time being. She made it to her class and entered the room. She noted that she was once again receiving stares from all of the guys. I don't get it... she thought. I'm not even wearing girly clothes.

She sat down in her seat, and pulled out her books, looking for anything to distract her from the attention she felt she was receiving. Luckily, being in the back corner, she would only have two people sitting near her. One was that quiet girl...Amber Wilson. She never really talked to anyone, so Stacy didn't need to worry about conversation there.

The other person near her was that nerd, Jon Gibson. Stacy doubted he would talk to her, considering he never talked to anyone in the more popular crowd. As a matter of fact, he only really ever talked to that blonde chick, Karyn Black. As Steve, she had noticed her a few times. However, he had always doubted she'd put out, so he hadn't bothered.

Stacy began feeling uncomfortable, and looked over to find Jon giving her a strange look. After a minute of that, she finally spoke up. "What do you want?" she asked. She was having a bad enough day without this geek staring at her.

"I was just thinking..." Jon said, quietly. He stayed quiet for a moment, and Stacy wondered if that was all he was going to say. "Does the name Steve Farber mean anything to you?" Jon asked.

Stacy's eyes went wide. He knew. This geek, Jon, knew about her old self. There was still hope. If he knew, then maybe others did. And even if they didn't, maybe they could do something. For the first since her visit to room 21, Stacy breathed easily.
