As Jon watched, Amber reached into her bag and pulled out a bunch of snacks. It looked like she'd raided the snack machine in the cafeteria suddenly. She began gnawing on a candy bar nervously.
That wasn't like her. She was fairly confident and driven. She wasn't the vindictive bitch Sarah could be. Mostly, she was pretty, popular, and worked hard. But if anyone got in her way, she pushed them out of it.
He thought about that. Sarah was apathetic, Amber seemed to have developed a nervous eating habit...What did those things have in common?
He focused on Allison Wright, to see if she would provide any additional clues.
