Jon was amazed. Obviously, whatever he wished for was still in play. One moment, Jay Duncan and Chris Morgan were goofing off with each other, like they were friends. And then after the first period dismissal bell rang and Chris tried to leave the class, Jay tripped him. Chris went flailing to the floor and Jay and a bunch of other guys began laughing at him. "What a dork," Jay said.
Jon went to find Karyn. "Have you noticed anything weird going on today?" He asked her.
"Only that you're talking to me," she said, with disdain, walking away.
"What are you talking to her for?" A voice said from behind him.
