She turned around and saw one of the teachers. "Sarah...don't you have somewhere to be?" She said, in a friendly voice. "You aren't setting a very good example." She started gently escorting Sarah down the hall to the library, gently urging her inside.
The library was run by Mrs. Finch. Mrs. Finch seemed intent on proving every librarian stereotype. The Librarian at the middle school had been into computers. Mrs. Finch, however, had struggled to keep their presence in her library to an electronic card catalog. She also insisted on total quiet. She was, even in the opinion of the princpal of the school, a relic before her time.
As Sarah entered, Mrs. Finch was sitting there. She was wearing a green dress, her heeled green shoes, her gaudy earrings, and over-sized glasses.
The teacher turned around and left her alone there.
