Jon looked around for Karyn again. What he really wanted to do was discuss the situation privately with her, if indeed Sarah had described the situation accurately.
And then something happened.
Sarah and her two friends suddenly became Goth girls, and Zoe became a preppy girl. It was almost like they had swapped lifestyles or something.
Zoe glared at Sarah (who Jon noticed was dressed very similarly to Zoe's friend Athena, as she wore a black gothic dress, a black under-bust corset, and fishnet gloves). "I know you had something to do with this, you witch," Zoe spat at her.
Jon stared at Zoe, then at Sarah. They didn't just swap their looks. They must have also swapped personalities, or something like it. Zoe was acting like Sarah, and Sarah and her friends were acting like Zoe.
What was happening? And was it happening everywhere or just with these four girls?
