Sarah was certain she was lying. "Why is everyone suddenly treating you like you're Queen of the School?"
Holly looked at her. "You aren't joking...you seriously don't know who I am?"
"I've never seen you before," Sarah said.
Holly looked annoyed, but let it pass. "I really don't know what's going on. Everyone seems to know me and yesterday I couldn't catch a cold. I've been going to this school for three months now, and it's like everyone has their little clique and..."
"And what?"
"I'm a bit shy...okay? At least I was. Last night, I was writing in my journal and then I got this shock and passed out. And when I woke up..."
"You felt hungover?" Sarah said.
"No," Holly said. "I felt great actually. Confident, ready to face the day...And then I got to school and I suddenly had all these friends who wanted to hear what I had to say, and everyone is paying attention to me...I just..."
"What?"
"I had to get away for a few minutes. There's so much attention, I barely have time to think I'm so busy. I have cheerleading, and we're going to the mall after that..."
"So you have no idea how this happened?"
"Of course not...if I knew that a wish I made was going to be granted, I would have wished for something else, you know?"
