Grunting, she decided that she had to walk to school. It wasn't really too far away, but she preferred to be driven there. Walking seemed to be too lowly an act for her.
When Sarah finally arrived at the school, she met up with her friends Tiffany Sanders and Melissa Smith, two girls who were also on the cheerleading squad with her.
"Hey, girls," Sarah said. "Sorry I'm a little late, but ..."
"Do I know you?" Melissa asked.
"Excuse me?" Sarah asked.
"Yeah, who are you?" Tiffany said.
"Tiffany, what are you talking about?"
"I've never seen you before in my life," Melissa said. "
Sarah stared at them. What was wrong with them? Why were they treating her like she was a stranger? For a moment, she had a strange thought that maybe she looked different. That maybe they didn't recognize her. But when she caught a glimpse of herself in one of the hallway mirrors, she saw that she looked as normal as ever. Blond hair, perfect tanned skin, D-cup breasts, a perfect figure, a tight pink baby-T shirt, a white pleated miniskirt, and 4-inch heels. In fact, her overall appearance wasn't too different than Melissa's or Tiffany's. Yet, they were treating her as if they'd never seen her before.
