Roger and Sam headed down the stairs and entered the living room. Linda was sitting on the couch, chowing down and watching football.
"Are you almost done?" Roger said, shrilly. "Real Housewives is on in a minute."
"Are you kidding?" Linda boomed. "The game isn't even halfway over. Go watch somewhere else."
"I have company," Roger said. "Why don't you go do something else?"
"Sam isn't company...he lives next door," Linda said. Linda looked at Sam. "You like sports, right? How about you watch with me?"
Sam looked at Linda, then Roger, fretting a bit at the choice.
