"No, I don't know anything about a stupid rock. Now, will you please get out!" Roger yelled, acting like a teenage girl, pushing Jon out into the hall and slamming the door in his face.

Jon was stunned. If he didn't find the stone soon...he wasn't sure what his family was going to look like.
Stacy really was changing things. People weren't just acting differently. They were actually transforming! If he didn't find that stone soon ...
The exchange sparked something in Sam. He headed toward the door. "I'll be right back," he told his bestie and headed through. "Jon...wait up."

Jon turned around. "Yeah?"

"You notice...something is going on, don't you?" Sam said.

Jon exhaled. "You...see it too?"

"Sometimes she lets me remember..." Sam said, in an increasingly feminine voice. "But not always everything."

"She?"

"Stacy, my sister," he said. "Remember, you came over and met her?"

"Stacy is your daughter," Jon said.

Sam scratched his head with suddenly longer fingernails. "But...I'm only a teenager, aren't I?" He paused. "She's playing with me again, I guess. But if you remember more than I do, I guess she's taken a liking to you."

"We have to stop this. My Dad is acting like a teenage girl..."

"You can't stop it. No one can stop her. If she knows I'm talking to you, then either she wants me to tell you this, or she will come after me when she finds out." Sam looked at him. "The best you can do is live with whatever happens. Eventually, she moves on. I'm just lucky I'm still me while everything else is different," Sam concluded.

Jon stared at him. "Ummm...sure," he said, not sure he should break it to him that this morning he'd been a middle-aged man and now he was increasingly looking like a teenage girl. He needed to find Stacy right now and have this out.
