I said "Well, it is time for you to go. See you tomorrow." I then went into the lair without any further conversation. They looked puzzled, but they did not make too much of a fuss about it. When they were gone, I breathed a sigh of relief. The next contest was not something I was looking forward to. Hopefully, they would take the hint if I just did not leave the lair when they got here. If not, I might have to go all out from the start and defeat them once and for all. Either way, I was going to need to make some plans. I declared that my vacation was over. That meant that I had to get to work. Now that I was going to be operating in two cities at once, I needed to make a plan. If it did not lead to anything, I might fall in the rankings. I also needed some contingencies. Walls were closing in a bit and I was going to need a plan if I ever got caught by a hero or the police. In Life City, there was a university with all sorts of programs. I had the human clone go on campus and look around. There was a library attached to the law school. I read some of the law books on the shelves. It unlocked the Lawyer skill tree.

I had 6 skill points from the leveling I had been doing. I put them in the tree. The first point allowed me to understand basic laws and what the penalties for breaking them were. The second point in the tree allowed me deeper understanding of the laws and a range of jail sentences one could get for them. Point three allowed me to actually practice law. I could choose my specialization. I chose defense attorney because I wanted to be able to defend myself in court. Four points into the tree allowed me to go in and lessen charges for my clients. The fifth skill point granted the ability to make the testimony minigame easier. Putting the sixth point in, I was also able to appeal a verdict that did not go my way to a higher court once. That would be good. The human clone put the book back on the shelf and left the library. I was walking to where I left the sharkman when I got two notifications. I had to check it out. Nicola and Chelsea had reached the max opinion for Perfect Symbiosis. That meant that I could copy their forms for free now. Realizing that put a real pep in my step. It was now time for some crime.

I saw there was a large museum in the city. I used the Cody disguise to go on a brief tour of the premises. There was a set of large jewels on display. Apparently, all their majestic jewels in the exhibit were crown jewels of a dynasty many generations back in the history of Engkep. I was going to steal it right from under their noses. That would really give me some notoriety in the country. I also was going to steal from a bank in Love City. Doing two heists in the same night would really make me a big contender for the top spot. I went to the bathroom and waited until the museum closed for the day. A guard came in the bathroom and I crawled up the wall in liquid form and spread along the ceiling. The guard opened up all the stalls. He did not look up though. I waited for an hour and then slipped down to the floor. There was a big array of infrared lasers. I could not see them, but I could still hear the faint hum. It must have been a passive skill of oozes. Since I was a liquid form, I was able to slowly ooze myself through the field of lasers. I was able to go around them until I got to the display case.
