Jon held Wendi's hand and said "I wish that Karyn wouldn't think it's weird and would like that I changed the wishing stone into a girl." Wendi's body glowed.
Karyn walked back into the room, holding three glasses awkwardly. "Jon, I just talked to your mom. She doesn't even know who Wendi is. I think you better tell me who she really is."
"She's the wishing stone. I changed the stone into her."
"Really?"
"Yeah. I know you might think that that's weird, but ..."
"I don't think it's weird. I think it's kinda cool," Karyn said. She put the three glasses on Jon's desk and sat next to Wendi on the bed. She took a hold of Wendi's hand. "It feels so real."
"It is real," Wendi said. "I'm a real girl."
"Totally real? I mean, like, sexually?"
"Yes," Wendi said, smiling.
"This is just too cool," Karyn said.
Jon was confused by Karyn's statement. "Karyn? Why do you care if she's sexually real or not?"
"I don't know. Maybe I'll want to use her sometime."
"What?"
"That's why you made her into a girl, isn't it? So you could have sex with her?"
"That's not what I meant. Since when were you interested in girls?"
"I don't know. I guess just recently."
"You know, Jon. You did create me for sex," Wendi said. "Otherwise you would have made me a boy."
Jon was shocked. Maybe he thought about that for a second, but it wasn't the main reason. Or was it?
"Well, I'm glad that you're a girl, Wendi," Karyn said, giggling.
What had Jon done? He wanted Karyn to accept that Wendi was the wishing stone, not make her interested in girls.
He looked back over at them, both on he bed. Karyn was pawing Wendi's chest.
