We parked a block from the outpost for the bank parking lot. Dimitri stayed behind the wheel while the rest of us got out. I decided to play all this out as the clone in the bank. I put on my orange fox mask and we went to the front door of the building. It was easy to ooze through the wooden main doors. I then had to get past the glass doors with the sensors. I liquified and went through, though with some difficulty to make sure I did not trip the pressure sensors. One I had got through and crawled up the wall, I carefully moved over to the motion sensor. I slammed into it from behind and destroyed it. I dripped some ooze down to run along the floor to find the sensors and destroy them all too. It took me quite a while as I had no clue what I was doing. In the meantime I covered all the cameras I could with my ooze. Eventually, I found some way to slip inside and broke them. When that was done, I could quietly unlock the door. Just I returned to human form, a guard came out of a room and saw me. I knew it was do or die. He was on the lower balcony. I shot webbing at him and covered his mouth.
I then yanked him off the balcony. He fell with a sickening crack. The sound was his neck snapping on impact. I went over and took his weapon. It was better to have it in my capable hands. I fiddled with the door until I found a lock on the top and bottom I had to disengage. I then opened the doors and went to the wooden set. It was just a latch over the handle. I opened it and let everyone inside. "About damn time! I thought we were going to die of old age out here!" Erik snapped at me. I rolled my eyes as it was not the time to bicker. I led them back into the bank. "What the fuck!?" a guard exclaimed as we got into view. I shot him with my newly acquired gun. The guard returned fire and the others went for cover. I outlasted him and he fell over the railing of the top balcony. A third guard took a pot shot at me from behind. I turned and lit him up. He died and I walked up to the metal gate that separated the open area from the tellers and the stairwell to the vault. Erik rubbed his hands together. He was already transformed. "I don't need magic to do this." he said as he grabbed the bars with both hands.
Using his innate Fire Qi, he melted the bars and we were able to walk through the gate. There were three more guards that popped up guns blazing. I shot one and killed them, but I ended up running out of ammo. I shot a thin web at one of their guns and yanked it out of their hands. I grabbed it and shot him with it. I laughed as I got into cover on my own. I waited a moment as everything went quiet. "Shit! I don't know how to reload these shits!" I yelled. "What the fuck do you mean you don't know how to reload!?" Erik called back. I then heard footsteps on the floor. He turned the corner and said "Game's over, you little shit!" he snarled at me. I shot him in the head with the gun. He fell with a look of horror on his face. "Like I'd really tell you when I was out of bullets. Dumbass!" I said as I spat on him. We regrouped as we made our way to the stairwell. I looked at Erik and said "Don't be afraid to shoot back from time to time." He gave me an angry look. He pulled his handgun and said "Maybe if I did not have five guards with machine guns ready to make me swiss cheese, I could!" I just shrugged.
At the bottom of the of the stairs, there were several more guards. This time, they were cultivators, they were firing spikes and beams and everything else under the sun that they could think of. Cody and Dustin had picked up the guns from the fallen guards. Erik taught all of us to reload when the magazine was empty. He really looked a bit upset he even had to tell us. It did significantly increase our fire power. We were able to clear the room out. I looked around and nodded. "Erik. Cody. Blow the vault wide open." Erik smiled and they took the explosives out the bag. Erik line it up and set the fuze. We backed up as we waited for it to go off. When it did, the vault door was only slightly off one of the hinges. It was not as successful as it was supposed to be. There was no time for blaming anyone. I looked at the twins and said "Help me out with this." I shot two thick lines of webbing and they did the same. We had to pull the door open ourselves. It was tough, but we were able to get the job done. There were carts and bags for transporting money inside. There were also pallets of cash.
Taking cash cause a counter to go up. There was a total of $12.135 million in cash in the vault. That was not only thing of value in there. There were also precious gems and gold as well. The gems and gold were valued at $4 million and there was no way we were not taking them. The gold bricks were put on the carts. That was the first thing to be transported. There was a freight elevator that went up to the loading bay in the parking lot. When we got to the top, there was the sound of fighting. My clone was clearing out the guards that attacked the truck. When they finished, we rolled the carts into the truck. He then unloaded the gold and took the carts back to get the money. Dimitri, Sergei and the katana wielding clone stayed with the truck. We made three trips back and forth before we could hear the sirens of the police. We took the carts inside and Erik got in the front with Dimitri. We got out of there and down the block just as the cops got to the outpost. The brothers reverted to their regular clothes and we drove off. I had Sergei call the two guys we met for a safehouse. They gave us an address.
