Reality distorted around them as they entered the lobby of the bank.
People had already run away from the chaos that was happening outside, but there were still a few standing around in the room when they saw a car materialize out of nowhere and smash through the entrance to the building, sending pieces of the windows and the door flying in every direction.
One guy had to leap out of the way, to avoid getting hit by a large shard of glass.
Karyn stopped the car. "Oh my ..."
A man got up from behind a counter and stormed towards the car (this was the same man that talked to Jon when he first arrived in the bank). "What the hell do you think you're doing?!"
"Time to leave," Zoe whispered to Karyn.
"Good idea." Karyn backed up the car. There were too many cars on the road, so she had to drive on the sidewalk. By now, most of the crowds were gone, so Karyn had less of a chance of running someone over.
On their way to where they originally parked the car back in the place called 51, they heard a rumbling noise.
"What's that?" Sarah asked.
Karyn didn't know.
But they were driving towards it.
