"Hey, Jon. Wait up." Zoe ran up to him.
"Sorry, I was kind of in a hurry. I've got to meet up with Karyn," Jon said.
Do I normally walk to school with Jon in this new world? Zoe thought to herself.
"Um. That's okay. I'll just go with you."
"Okay, fine."
When they got to school, Zoe was surprised. Although the majority of students weren't Goth, nearly all of them wore black and semi-Goth clothes. Most of them retained their natural hair color and weren't pale-skinned. But it was definitely different than before.
"There's Karyn now. I'll see you later, Zoe." Jon walked off and met with Karyn, who was wearing a black tank top and worn miniskirt (similar to Zoe's) and black boots.
Zoe walked to her locker.
