Dinner time came around and the group met up again in front of the mess hall where they found May waiting for them.
"So how's it going? I assume you lot haven't made any new problems for me?" May said as they approached.
"We got all the firewood took a bit longer than we thought but its done." Tim reported.
"Yea we got it done but we really need to fix Jenny she's a mess with what she got from Tim." Maddie said gesturing to Jenny who's eyes had a worried look.
"Well maybe after dinner we can think about that, and she can give me my chest back while she is at it." May responded as the group lined up for food. She would quickly realize how bad the problem was as Jenny almost had a mental breakdown just deciding between corn or carrots.
"Ok so I see how this is a problem but unfortunately we can't fix it." May said.
"What do you mean we can't fix it? Just run the machine again." Maddie responded back.
"Well you see you cant use the machine on an altered thing more than once every 24 hours. When you try it just boots up and boots out an error message. So we can do it tomorrow afternoon but no go until then. Think you can hold out till then Jenny?" May asked as the girl just once again looked at her with a face of dismay.
"I feel bad about this Jenny if you make it till then I'll swap anything you want with you." Tim said trying to console her.
"Thanks I... I think I'll be alright. Just don't leave me alone please." Jenny said meekly.
The rest of the day passed rather un-eventfully, well as uneventful as having fundamental changes about oneself can go, as the group found themselves in the front room of their cabin after the campfire and going to each of their respective rooms.
"Man this is gonna be a crazy summer isn't it. I owe Sarah an apology I told her this was gonna be a waste." David said as he switched into comfortable clothes for the night.
"I know right? I thought this was gonna be hell... though if I had ended up like Jenny it might have been." Tim said as he did the same.
"Hey she got a great rack out of it. Those things are massive on her now." David joked.
"Damn strait they are!" Tim agreed. "Did all you're clothes get smaller to?"
"They did look at this." David said holding up a shirt. "This used to be a Large now its a extra small... I wear an EXTRA-SMALL now! This is so weird." he said as he approached the bunk and tried to jump up as he had easily done earlier in the day. After a few tries and some effort he finally hauled his way up and looked back down and the ground. "Jesus that took a bit more than I expected to to."
"Why didn't you just take the ladder little guy?" Tim remarked.
"HA! You ever catch me taking the ladder get a gun and put me out of my misery." David chuckled back. "Wonder how the girls are handling things right now?"
"Who knows doing girl stuff like checking each other out in their underwear."
"Sure thing. Probably start a pillow fight afterwards as well."
"We can only dream" Tim said as they both tried to fall asleep.
Meanwhile------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Wow this is so crazy look at us" Sarah exclaimed as she and Maddie examined themselves in the mirror.
"This is nuts, we completely switched skin tones." Maddie said in amazement alongside Sarah. "Come over here Jenny you need to see this."
"I will I'm just trying to figure out what to wear to sleep." Jenny responded.
"Oh don't worry about that now we'll take care of it for you." Sarah said as she dragged her over to the mirror. "I mean look at these things! They're huge!"
"Oh I hope I can try them out at some point!" Maddie giggled. "Did you see how much attention she was getting from the boys today. With tits like that you get your pick of the litter."
"I KNOW!!!! We gotta convince May to share them with us. Or find out a way to get a pair of our own with the machine. That reminds me." Sarah said as she walked over to her bag. "Snuck out this book of notes! Hopefully it has some more info that May hasn't figured out yet and we can trade that to her."
"Great idea!" Maddie said as she put on her pajamas and came to look at the book and Jenny followed. The girls spent the rest of their night trying to glean some knowledge from the book but it proved more difficult than expected. Parts of the book read as a journal but when it came to discoveries or scientific notes the writing changed to characters that none of them recognized. Eventually, frustrated by their slow progress the girls all agreed to head to bed their minds racing with thoughts of what tomorrow would bring.
