Michelle awoke in the morning with the sun coming through blinds and directly on her eyes. She sat up and turned to Henry, seeing her friend still sleeping, realizing that he was down one necklace, and his friend may have to stay Rika the rest of his summer in Japan, which was a month. Which, Michelle thought, would be a tough period of time to be a girl. He went to his bag and took out his necklace. It only had 2 beads. Diane had a bead. He could give Henry a new necklace, but then Davis wouldn't have one. Davis was just messing around, while Henry's like is altered. But if the first necklace has the same beads as the other ones, would that matter. Michelle rubbed her head and decided she should just go to the bathroom. She went down the hall in her nightshirt and went into the bathroom. After sitting down, she realized she could put on the necklace and stand for this. Oh well, she thought wiping herself and getting up. She washed her hands and saw that the cousins were up. They waved as Michelle went back to the room to see that Henry was up.
"It wasn't a dream, Mikey, " said Henry, sitting naked and dejected, "I'm still Rika."

Mikey went over and hugged his friend.
"Henry, it's going to be OK. We will figure this out. Right now, we need to go one step at a time, put your legs into your pants one leg at a time."
"What if it's a skirt? Because I mainly have those, " said Henry holding up a few shirts from the floor where he overturned his bag.
"Then stick with my walking metaphor and put on a shirt"
"Why did I have to become a girlie girl. At least you get shorts and pants. Look, even some of the panties have hello kitty or some other cartoon on them," said Henry holding up a pair.
"At least you have full panties. I'm stuck in thongs and g-strings. Do you know where those end up?"
".... Mikey, who have thought we'd be having this conversation," said Henry as he put the underwear on, and then a skirt.
"Not me, " said Mikey taking off his nightshirt and changing into his clothing for the day. He saw Henry take out a bra and stare at it.
"I've taken a few off, but not put one on. Some help?" asked Henry holding out the bra. Michelle helped him put it on, then finished up getting ready. Henry was done too, and then went out for breakfast. There was talk about plans for the afternoon, after Michelle was picked up. The cousins gushed about how cute Rika was, but the outfit could use some stockings. Akari ran to their room and came out moment later with some stockings for her cousin to use. Henry looked at Michelle, who shrugged. Henry went back to the multipurpose room. Akari asked if she could do Michelle hair. She agreed. The styling was partway done when Henry came out with stockings while looking at something on his phone.

"Kawaii" said his female relatives. His uncle just looked up from the paper for a minute. Henry put down his phone and looked a little...bashful. His aunt walked around him nodding saying something in Japanese that cause Henry to respond tersely in Japanese and go back to his bedroom. Michelle looked at the cousins and they looked at eachother and they stood up. Akari knocked on Henry's door and went in, followed closely by Sakura. Michelle got up and followed them in. They were talking in Japanese and Henry was crying. Michelle put her hand on Henry's back. Henry sobbed a bit and stopped crying. The cousin's left and he turned to Michelle.
"My aunt said I had a good figure and good birthing hips"
"That's a bit forward."
"Apparently, she has been saying stuff like that to Akari and Sakura for the last couple years. I never knew. I guess they didn't feel comfortable sharing with me when I was Henry."
"That's true, people act differently if you are a guy or a girl. And you are still Henry"
"I guess. Thanks Mikey."
"You're welcome Henry," said Michelle leaning in to give his friend a hug just in time for her phone to buzz. Apparently her brother was downstairs ready to pick her up. Michelle quickly packed her stuff and said her goodbyes. The last thing she saw was Henry waving sadly. She took the elevator down and meet up with Jon. Jon drove to meet the family at their rental. The rest of the day was finding temples, gardens and great places to eat. Randomly, Zoe told Michelle she was having a good time hanging out with her younger sister before going to college. Michelle decided to stay a girl the rest of the trip. Michelle, Zoe and her mother took flower arranging and the tea ceremony lessons a couple times. Before she realized, the trip was going to end. Everyone went to the airport. Jon flew to Bali while the rest of the family went home. Everyone hugged their goodbyes, and went on their ways.
When Michelle got home, she met up with Diane would gave her a massive hug. She had only gotten 3 of the 4 of the postcards. They went through pictures together. While they were looking at photos Diane said, "I see you are still Michelle. Getting more comfortable?"
"Yea. I had a good time with my sister and mother and obviously hanging with you, I guess being Michelle isn't so bad."
"I like Michelle too," said Diane as she squeeze Michelle's hand.
The next day, Mikey put on his necklace because he was going to meet up with Davis.
"Mikey, that pic you sent me of Henry was per-fect. You got the lips just as he was about to say something sarcastic, right?"
"Sure did."
"It was worth not having snacks for 2 weeks for that picture. Thanks for sending it."
"No problem."
"Have the necklace?"
