Freshman summer - sinks in

Henry nervously reached up to his neck to feel for the necklace that should have been removed hours ago.

"It's not there....ITS NOT THERE!" said Henry nervously, "and I'm still a girl!" He overturned his pink backpack to rummage through his belongings. Michelle sat on the ground to help her friend look for the magic item. He had a week of clothing, his pink cellphone with a charm attached, some face blotting paper, a planner (now with Chihiro Ogino from Spirited away rather than Vash the Stampede) and some temple fortunes for luck with love.
"no..no...no....no..." mumbled Henry as he was going through it again, with Mikey there trying to help. After 20 minutes, Henry sat back on the wall and started to cry, a chest heaving cry. Michelle came over to hug her friend.
"What am I going to do Mikey? The necklace is gone and I'm still Rika. I don't want to be Rika, I want to be me," declared Henry between sobs.
"You are still you, Henry. Just..in a different body. You are still just as smart, just as kind and just as sarcastic, but with boobs." Rika smiled a bit.
"And a vagina, don't for get that, cause I sure can't," joked Henry.
"I wouldn't dream of it."
"Seriously though Mikey, what am I going to do? My life is going to be really different now."
"Well, Henry, for what it's worth, the only ones that know are you, me and maybe Davis. Take a look at your planner, see what your summer looks like now."
Henry crawled on all fours to his backpack, showing Mikey his amble ass and and neatly trimmed bush. He felt his nipples get hard at his friend's display.
Henry sat down and opened the book, which was now also pink instead of black. He opened to the bookmark for August, and reviewed. He still was an intern at Nintendo, he was still going to Okinawa in a week to see Hina and Eiichi before going home on the same day. The only difference was the doodling was more cutesy and there were a few dinners that weren't there before, one had a little heart next to it. Mikey crawled over too and looked over Henry's shoulder
"Looks like Rika has some dates, " observed Michelle.
"Looks like Rika is going to cancel as many of these as possible, " replied Henry.
"Looks like Rika should put on her pajamas."
"Looks like Rika will do just that," and Henry picked up his pajamas and started to put them on. He then said he was going to use the bathroom to get ready for bed. Mikey sat down and thought, what happened to the necklace? What happened before? Diane and he found it in his sleeping bag. How'd it get off him? Did Mrs. Diver take it off? He never thought about it before. He took out his phone and texted Jennifer about it., with the time change, it shouldn't wake her up. He recalled the conversation with the gentleman in Greece, but he didn't mention anything about the necklace after it was on, just avoid using it for 24 hours. A quick google search didn't help either. Michelle was digging deeper into the internet when Henry came back and silently unrolled his sleeping mat. After he put down his pillow, he said, "I spent a little time staring at my face. I can still see my eyes and my hair color is the same. There are bits of me in this body."
"There is a lot of you in that body, in fact, that is you."
"I know Mikey, but it's also not me, you know?"
"I know."
"I miss peeing standing up already."
"It is a nice perk of being a male, isn't it?"
"As long as I have these, please never say perk again, " said Henry pointing at his breasts.
"Scouts honor, " replied Michelle with her 3 finger salute.
Michelle rolled out her mat and went to get ready for bed. She tucked her hair behind her ear and looked at her face a bit while brushing her teeth. Had it really been 5 years since the necklace did it's job on her? She was daydreaming a bit about if she hadn't used the necklace, when her phone went off. After spitting out the toothpaste, she took a look at the message from Jennifer.
"Hey Michelle. Funny you should ask. I was just thinking about how fun that trip was. Maybe I can go with you girls on your neck camping trip? Anyway, I took off the necklace when I carried you to your tent after that late night for you girls."
Michelle replied "Anything weird about it when you took it off?"
A moment later, the reply came, "It was cute, with the pendant and the beads. What was weird is that I could have sworn there were more beads at the start of the trip than at the end. Do you still have that necklace?"
"I sure do, I means the world to me. Reminds of that trip."
"Glad you still have it. Enjoy the rest of your trip!"
Michelle put down her phone. Did the permanent transformation "use up" a bead? He was about to ask Henry what he thought, but saw him asleep. Maybe they could talk more in the morning.
