749 (who still possessed Jon's body) tried to access her robotic body, but she couldn't. "The one named Jon is on the ship."
"How did you come to that conclusion?" asked Sarah (who was still possessed by the AI 263).
"I can't access my body. This human is smart. He discovered a way to use our own neural network against us. With my body, he'll have full access to the ship. He could stop us." When 749 said that last part, 263 noticed a bit of relief in the human boy's voice.
"Did you allow him access?" Sarah asked.
"Of course not. That's against my programming."
263 (Sarah) looked at the boy in front of her a little longer. Part of her thought that it was a ruse, that the boy named Jon was not on the ship, that he was still a prisoner in his own body. But could she take that chance? If the human boy was on the ship, it could spell disaster for them all.
