When Jon was making his wish, Zoe had her ear up to the door. Recently, her brother had gotten something from their grandfather through the mail. She was dying to know what it was. But whenever she looked through his stuff in his room, she couldn't find it. She thought that maybe he'd discuss it with Karyn over the phone. So that's why she was eavesdropping. She was hoping to find out more about it, whatever it was.
But all she heard was Jon saying "I wish something something something".
And that's when everything changed. Suddenly, all the walls became painted black instead of white and candles appeared everywhere. She heard heavy metal music. But it wasn't coming from her room. It sounded like it was coming from her mom's room.
But how could that be? What was going on?
She walked to her mom's bedroom door and walked inside.
