It took an hour, but he did breakthrough to the Peak Foundation Establishment stage. A smelly back substance was released from his pores all over his body. Mika got off of him and said "Go wash up and I'll get the cauldron. I think the Crystal Orchid Void Lover will work the best for us. It's not like you'll be able to use any Wood spells so soon anyway." He got up and crinkled his nose in disgust. "Fine. The ingredients are in the kitchen and fridge. I'll be out as soon as I can." Mika went to a cupboard and pulled out a distillation set. Humming, she opened the fridge and got filtered water. Mika carefully plucked the petals from the orchid and dipped them and the stem in the distilling flask to make sure the pollen also got into the water. It took an hour and a half to get the liquid to distill. In the meantime, she had been adding herbs and liquids to the cauldron. A blue fire was set under it to let it cook the alchemic brew. She stirred it and sent her own Qi into the mix as well. When the orchid solution was finished, she added it to the cauldron. It sparkled and flashed a bright white. That was probably a good sign.
She looked at her handiwork and smiled as she wiped the sweat from her brow. She then looked at me and said "This cultivation method is to help Milo break through to the next stage of his cultivation. It might even help you out too. I'll tell you how it works since you come off as a girl to me." I nodded as she went over the basics. She impressed me. The fact that I had eggs sacs and a female spider body was something few people could tell at a glance. She left out the fact that one of us would have to die. That told me that I was the one that was going to bite the dust. It was a complex ritual, One partner had a certain chant to take possession of the new soul while the other severed the tie with their soul. I was taught the chant and seals. I read the manual, so I knew that the seals and chants were easy, yet needed to be done more frequently for the ritual to work for the cultivator that would survive. I had certainly seen enough. The feverish debuff was still in effect. Luckily, Milo was out of the shower now. Mika gave both of us a cup of the tea to drink down. It certainly tasted nice enough.
That was all I needed from them. I drank it down in one gulp and walked over to the window. I opened it and felt the evening breeze. I liquified and oozed out the window before anyone could stop me. I oozed down the street. I was pushing past the few people still on the street. They were shocked and tried to get out of my way. I able to get to a supermarket without much interference. When I got inside, I looked and saw that they sold cutlery. That was needed. I still had the "Effortless Division" perk from my leveling. Since I had drained James for 18 minutes, I had the mass of 8 human forms. That was of course before the split. That meant that this current form was 4 human forms. With that, I could split into four and be fine. I decided to split into two. I was able to condense my mass so that I took up the same space. I was just twice as heavy as normal. I took a knife from the package and smiled. I was in the position to do the ritual. I just had to literally fuck myself. That was going to be easy. I could just have the clones do it and come back after the deed was done. Hiveminds really were the best.
