Jon paused when he saw his name along with 4 other names next to something called swap exchange? Jon moved over to the School counselor, Ms. Stone, who was a new specialist for Swap Class. As soon as she was free Jon spoke up, "If you have a moment Ms. Stone, What does Swap exchange mean?."
Ms. Stone looked at Jon, smiling before speaking, "Well there is a Class size limit, we reached and went over that. However instead of just keeping some students from participating this semester, I checked with the schools that also had Swap classes, we already had plans to set up a student exchange where the students could choose someone from another school. And while a few schools have already started, others are going to start in a few weeks, there is a limit."
"We did a random drawing, however other schools might let the students choose if they are involved. A few who haven't started are willing to let students from schools that have select which schools they swap to." She said, grabbing a pamphlet and holding it up to Jon. "The idea is, that the students who had already signed up for the exchange raffle but didn't get to go anywhere."
Jon looked through pamphlet, it talked about how the swap exchange worked. In it was a list of all the schools in the country and across the world. As he read Ms. Stone continued talking "You were eligible for a student exchange but didn't luck out, So I hope you can find this as an acceptable alternative, it acts as a first come first serve system, so select multiple places you want to go. You can also have personal items sent over, but you do need to keep their life in order so you can't goof off that much."
Jon thanked Ms. Stone for the help, and that he would get back to her with his choice when it was due tomorrow.
