Jon walked up to his room and stayed there. He continually got calls on his cellphone from Kyla. He ignored them.
Eventually, he fell asleep.
"Jon?" It was a girl's voice. Jon woke up and saw Karyn leaning over him. The normal Karyn. She wasn't a Goth anymore. He looked over at his clock. It said 6:30 PM. The swap had happened just a half hour earlier. Now everything was back to normal, for a day at least. In another day, the personality swapping would continue, and keep doing it every day until it was done for a week's time.
But for now, everything was back to normal.
"Why didn't you answer your phone? I've been trying to talk to you ever since you left school," she said. "I finally made the decision to just come here."
Jon just smiled at her.
"What? Why are you smiling?"
"I'm just glad to have you back. That's all."
"Have me back?" she asked, then her eyes went wide. "You didn't use that stone, did you?"
"Well, yeah, actually."
"What did you do, Jon?"
