When Jon and Sarah were done eating, they stood up to go throw away their trash. On the way, they saw Karyn standing in the middle of the lunch room, holding her stomach. As Kyla walked past her, Karyn doubled over and fell to the floor. Biff ran to her and asked if she was okay. Kyla spun around on her boots and smiled down at the hurt Karyn.
"Revenge is sweet," she said.
Karyn looked up with tearful, painful eyes. "What ... what did you do to me?"
"Just a little potion I whipped up. If you think you're sick now, just wait." She bent down over the helpless Karyn. "It's gonna get a lot worse," she said, smiling.
Biff stood up. "You fucking freak!" he yelled, grabbing Kyla. "You make her better! Now!!"
If there's one thing you don't want to do it's make a football player angry. Kyla wasn't expecting to deal with Karyn's boyfriend too.
"Let her go," someone said behind Biff.
He turned around and saw a Goth girl with bright pink hair. It was Sabrina. And standing behind her was Kyla's other friend Stephanie.
"What are you freaks gonna do if I don't? Cast a spell on me?"
"We won't need to."
Suddenly, Biff became lightheaded and began to fall to the floor.
Kyla, free from Biff's grasp, took a deep breath of relief. She wondered what was happening to Biff, but then it occured to her. She bent over him and said "You didn't kiss her, did you?"
He looked up with hurt eyes. Apparently he did. Kyla smiled. "Two for the price of one, then." She stood back up and turned to her friends. "Come on, let's go." And three Goth girls left the lunch room.
Everyone in the cafeteria was stunned and completely silent. They couldn't believe what had just happened. About a minute later, the school nurse ran in to help Karyn and Biff, who were sprawled across the floor, clutching themselves in pain.
After a few minutes of quiet, the crowd started to talk again, mostly about what they just witnessed.
Jon and Sarah threw away their trash and waited until lunch time was over.
