"So my aunt is coming to town this weekend and ... Jon?" Sarah said.
"Huh?"
"Were you listening? I said Aunt Linda is coming."
"Uh, okay."
"You don't seem very excited. You always love it when she visits."
Just then Jon realized that he knew nothing about Sarah's family or history. He had no idea who she was talking about. To her, they had always been friends. Best friends. This was going to be more of a problem than he thought. He wasn't planning on interacting with any of the "test subjects", but he didn't think about the fact that Sarah would think that she's childhood friends with him. And then also eventually Kyla. It was easier with Zoe, because she was family.
"I do. I was just lost in my thoughts, that's all," Jon said.
Sarah looked a little concerned, but then shrugged it off. "Well, we're here."
And they walked inside the school.
