Back in his own room, Jon picked up the stone and said "I wish that it was tomorrow morning at 6:30 AM right now and that I had all my homework done."
The stone glowed and suddenly the sky out his window became clear and sunny, replacing the cloudy evening sky. It was the morning of the next day.
Jon figured that the best way to observe the changes to Karyn, Zoe, Sarah, and Kyla, would be to see them interact at school.
Around 7 AM, Jon walked downstairs to find Zoe at the kitchen table, dressed in an orange T-shirt and jeans.
"Hey, Jon," she said, smiling. It was weird to see that.
"Uh, hi."
"Are you gonna bring the stone with you to school?" she asked, in a lower voice so that their mom didn't hear her.
"Uh, no. I didn't want it to get stolen. We can use it when we get back."
Zoe looked disappointed, but then said "Well, I suppose that's a good idea. You certainly wouldn't want someone like that bitch Kyla Leeson to get her hands on it."
"Exactly," Jon said, thinking about what his sister said. That bitch Kyla Leeson. In this reality, Kyla had Sarah McMillan's original personality. Jon had to see that. He could never imagine Kyla as the ditzy spoiled brat type.
Another fifteen minutes later, Jon and Zoe headed off to school.
