The moment Jon left his bedroom, he heard someone yelling in frustration and it was coming from his parents' room.
"What the fuck is it now?" Jon whispered to himself, annoyed that his search for the stone was interrupted.
He opened the door to the master bedroom and saw his mother (dressed just like he used to be, in a gray T-shirt and jeans). She was sitting in front of the TV playing a video game. It was a weird sight, because his mom never played video games. She was just never interested.
He also recognized a lot of his possessions, like the action figures on the shelves, posters of trendy bands on the wall, and what used to be his TV against the wall connected to a Playstation 2.
Suddenly, Jon felt disgusted. How could he have liked that crap? Why did he ever think that U2 sounded good? How could someone play video games so much?
Shrugging it off, he left the room. He had more important things to do than to loiter in his mom's fucking bedroom. But as he left, he wondered if maybe the stone might have been in the master bedroom after all, since his mom now apparently had his old personality.
Even so, he felt like he should check everywhere else first.
