"Really? That is so weird!" Karyn almost yelled, forgetting that she was supposed to be whispering. "Oops, sorry!" she giggled, covering her mouth with her hands.
"I mean, it's like she's always been weird like that, hanging out with guys, watching cartoons, playing with action figures, saying girls were 'icky.' I can't believe you did that!"
"Yeah, she used to be a total bitch, especially to you. Mikey's got her personality for a week now, though."
Karyn laughed again. "That is so funny. We're going to have to play more with that stone later, so this time I can actually see the changes."
"Not a problem," Jon smiled.
They had different first period courses, but Jon didn't mind. Sarah was in his first class, History.
He walked in and almost burst out laughing. There was Sarah, previously the school's queen bitch, sitting in a Yu-Gi-Oh t-shirt and jeans, with a brightly-colored Naruto backpack. Her hair was unkempt and messy, still long, but looking like she hadn't used conditioner on it or bothered to brush it much. She wore no makeup, and was obviously not wearing a bra. She looked like she was having a hard time sitting still, tossing paper balls back and forth at the other guys in class. He would imagine that they were eager to hang with her, regardless of her less-than-worked-on looks.
Some of the girls in class looked at her with obvious disgust. They all thought Sarah was some kind of lesbo, no doubt. And it didn't help that she would pull their hair and shoot spitballs at them and call them 'gross' all the time.
Jon took his usual seat, a couple back and to the right of Sarah's, and the teacher walked in. Jon wondered what Sarah's study habits were like now, and how the day was going for Mikey.
