"I need to go to Karyn's house," Jon said.
"Who's Karyn?" Zoe asked.
Jon kept on forgetting that Zoe didn't remember things from the previous reality. If he had the stone with him, he might have helped her remember. But, of course, if he had the stone, he wouldn't be so intent on getting Athena's pendant. Or would he?
"It doesn't matter," he said, opening the door to leave his room.
"Uh, aren't you forgetting something?" Zoe asked.
"Huh?"
"Your cloak," she said, grabbing something black from the closet. "I never see you leave the house without it." She gave it to him and he put it on.
He looked at himself in the mirror. The cloak had a hood, making him look like some sort of "dark lord", like the emperor from the Star Wars movies. At first he thought it made him look ridiculous, but soon he actually thought he looked pretty good in it.
As he turned to leave, Zoe asked if she could come with. Jon said it would be okay. It was strange, but ever since the swap, he felt comfortable being around his sister. Maybe it was because she treated him like a friend.
