The fresh off the line models were delivered to my second home. The Adamu women and the catboy were received in large cardboard boxes. At least they were discreet and non descript. I had to really struggle to get them in the house. I took them out the boxes and booted them up. They seemed to be pretty nice. The woman was pretty nice and helped me around the house. The cat boy was a bit skittish, but it also helped with chores. I did not have any intention of having sex with them. The androids went on sale the next day. It was pretty good and I got a big boost in my stock portfolio. The real boost came to my level count. I was now level 10. That meant I had a lot of skill points to allocate. 9 of them to be exact. I put one star each into the nine Construction Defense perks. I wanted my next batch of androids to be much more durable. After I allocated them, I went on with my day. The androids saw me off as I went to my car for the drive to campus. I was called into the faculty office again and I could see there were men and women in black suits with snow white shirts.
It was clear that they were all Adamu. It made sense. The leader came to me and gave me a salute. It was a so-called "Roman" salute with a peace sign instead of a flat outstretched hand. That certainly was unsettling to me for many reasons. 'Oh shit! Are we the bad guys?' I questioned in my head for the briefest of seconds. I then just shook my head and returned it. "Dr. David Harper, we have heard many good things from you. Your country can use your keen abilities for our android program. It makes it easier to work with an Alkali. I am Captain Whitaker of the Conion Army Company C of the 2nd Battalion. We have been in alliance talks with Oatis, Chehines, Zoria and Urilia. In a larger military coalition, we are hoping to be a deterrence from interference or invasion by Cotania or Meibos." Conion was a land locked country. We had two lakes and rich iron mines. To the south, Conion bordered Zoria and Urilia. They had a big stripe of the coast line between the two of them. Chehines was to our west and was friendly. The three countries also had Adamu rulers.
Coincidentally, the countries were able to negotiate really easily with each other. I was sure it had nothing to do with anything based on their ethnic solidarity though. The four countries seemed to be revolving on a big Adamu supremacy movement. Moving on, I asked what they wanted with me. "We knew about the hacking capabilities that you slipped into the sexbots you designed for Futafun. We had to scrub most of that programming out for mass consumption. The last thing we needed was a lonely pervert to think he could start hacking everything because they got stood up for another date." the captain said. That was disappointing. I had no real need to test it out but now, the drive was totally gone. "The legal teams already knew that they needed to water down the capability for harm, but we made sure that we were safe rather than very sorry." he answered. I nodded and let him continue. "We have pooled resources together in order to create some battle capable androids. This would be just enough to put us on the map and make our faction viable on the world stage."
