"Don't you think I tried wishing things were back to normal? Nothing happened. I don't know how to fix it. I'm...sorry." Holly said, darting out of the room, leaving her journal behind.
"Wait...you forgot your book," Sarah said. She picked it up and found the last entry. "It's like she owns the school...everyone treats her like royalty and she treats everyone like dirt. I just wish I knew what it was like to be like Sarah McMillan."
Sarah frowned. She thumbed through the book. There were some poems, a few notes about the school...she didn't read much of it, it seemed so whiny and boring. She paused, thinking. What if she tried the same thing? Would wishing for the same thing fix things? It was worth a shot. She was tired of being invisible.
She got out a pen and tried it, "I just wish I knew what it was like to be like Holly Simpson," she wrote, wishing for her life back.
The book suddenly glowed, shocking her, similar to what she'd felt last night. She dropped the book in surprise.
